Two Seishin students are selected each day as “gakunen nitchoku”. If selected for it, they will inspect classrooms, and restrooms after school. They also the desks and chairs, close the curtains, turn off the lights… They do a final check after everyone has left. The check is made on a special form to be filled out. Then, the submit the form to the teacher in charge. They then make a note on the blackboard of the areas that were not dore. It makes me happy to see the message the next day, “It was perfect”. In this way, “gakunen nitchoku” is difficult because of the work involved, but it is interesting because of the after school atmosphere and the unusual time schedule.
